This place serves the most authentic Punjabi food I’ve had in the entire United States. The taste is pure Punjab—rich, soulful, and completely homemade. From the freshly churned dahi lassi to the real makkhan melting on hot paranthas, every bite took me straight back to Punjab. I ordered parantha and Amritsari kulcha, and honestly, it beats every branded Indian restaurant across the U.S. by miles. The flavors are bold yet comforting, exactly how Punjabi food is meant to be. They even offered us sweets to taste along with sweet lassi—such a warm, homely touch that you rarely experience anywhere. By the end, I was happily full, completely satisfied, and all I wanted was a bed to sleep peacefully. Every bite was mouthful, flavorful, and deeply fulfilling. If you’re in New Jersey, this is a must-visit. Go blindly and order anything—especially the parantha. Best Indian food experience ever.

The food was delicious, and this is our go-to place. If you enjoy tasty food at reasonable prices, you should definitely give it a try. We ordered saag paneer with makke ki roti and paneer makhani with chilli garlic naan, and both were absolutely worth it. The flavors were rich, the portions were satisfying, and everything tasted fresh and well-prepared.

One of the best Indian Punjabi foods I’ve had! I couldn’t stop myself from giving compliments — still enjoying every bite. After such a long time, I finally had truly delicious Punjabi food. Highly recommended for anyone missing the real taste of home. Love this place! God bless you, Paji!

Three of us went to have a nice brunch could not find a location better than this. The food was great, quick service, so friendly. Ordered their mixed parantha. Paneer parantha and Amritsari kulcha first day. We again went the next day for dinner and ordered saag with makki di roti and Amritsari kulcha. The food was so tasty and we also got complementary sweets to try. We all had a great time.. will definitely visit them next time we are in that area. Thank You!

Great friendly service. Food was flavorful and had a homely taste. It takes some time to get your food but that is because everything is cooked fresh. The cleanliness and ambience could be improved. Also, please do yourself a favor and try the fresh mithai. It is amazing.

I visited Punjabi Dhaba last night and came away thoroughly impressed. From the moment I walked in, the aroma of fresh spices and sizzling tandoor was irresistible. The staff greeted me warmly, and the ambiance was comfortable yet authentic — simple décor with Punjabi touches. Portions were generous, and the pricing was fair for the quality. The service was attentive without being intrusive. As someone who grew up with Punjabi home cooking, I felt this place does justice to tradition while still being accessible to a broader palate.
